Donors, advisors, and grantmakers are invited to a special briefing exploring the intersection of immigrant rights, housing, and homelessness in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in the San Francisco Bay Area. During this briefing, we’ll examine how efforts for immigrant rights support the immigrant community, undocumented neighbors, and people experiencing homelessness alike.
Participants will also learn about efforts underway to serve our neighbors who are undocumented or unhoused and discuss how funders can support immigrant rights as an important part of advancing housing justice in San Mateo and Santa Clara. More than one million residents of these counties are foreign born, and 47% of these are not US citizens.
Sponsored by California Homelessness & Housing Policy Funders Network (A Funders Together network), Northern California Grantmakers, the Grove Foundation, Funders Together to End Homelessness, Bay Area Asset Funders Network, and United Coalition for Immigrant Services.
