Funders Together is organizing multiple ways for our members to connect and share information about local responses to the impact of COVID-19 on people experiencing homelessness. In addition to regular webinars with field updates, we are organizing recurring, informal funder calls for funders to share what they’re seeing and doing and to seek support from other members.
Funder Calls
These funder calls are active, discussion-based calls that we hope will be led and lightly facilitated by our members. Join these member calls if you want to share what is happening in your community related to supporting people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic and hear what other funders are doing in their communities.
To sign up for this funder call, please RSVP below and Stephanie Chan, Director of Membership and Programs will send you the calendar invitation. We hope that as many people as possible will join via videoconference. We will take live notes, but these calls will not be recorded.
On April 29, we'll hear from Peggy Bailey, Vice President for Housing Policy, and Ann Oliva, Visiting Senior Fellow, both with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Prior to joining CBPP, Ann was a senior policy advisory at CSH, and prior to that she was at HUD for 10 years and served as their Deputy Assistant Secretary for Special Needs. Both Peggy and Ann are policy powerhouses who understand racial equity work, and we hope you will bring your wonkiest housing and homelessness questions.

This call will be an opportunity to ask all your burning questions about housing policy during COVID-19 and what communities should be doing in the immediate future with COVID-19 relief dollars. If you have questions for Peggy and Ann but won't be able to join the call, please feel free to share them with Stephanie Chan, Director of Membership and Programs, and we will make sure they are asked.

Interested in hearing more general field updates?
If you are interested in hearing about what is happening in the field nationally and want more high-level information about how funders are responding in communities, we will hold period webinars with national leaders and more general updates about what we are hearing. We anticipate holding these webinars every few weeks or whenever there are substantive updates for the field.
Please note: Participation in our programming is limited to private funders, including foundations, United Ways, corporate giving programs, individual philanthropists, and philanthropy serving organizations (PSOs). You do not have to be a member of Funders Together to participate in this call.
