In this second session of the Youth Homelessness Prevention Learning & Action Series for Philanthropy, we will be highlighting the work of Think Of Us. During the February 1st convening, we had a chance in the System Involvement breakout room to meet the Chief Executive Officer of Think Of Us. Think Of Us is a Research and Development Lab for child welfare, transforming the system so that people with lived experience are at the center of designing, imaging, and building. They strategically engage projects across tech, participatory research, and state and federal partnership, driving system-wide solutions that bridge the gap between policy, practice, and people.
This funder call will dive deeper into the work Think Of Us is doing across the country with the support of those with lived expertise. They will provide funders with some tools that can help reimagine how they think about approaching work with systems. Funders will also have the opportunity to discuss how they might be able to utilize these types of strategies in their work.
Here is a highlight of what you can expect during this engaging conversation from the breakout session at the Youth Homelessness Prevention Convening.
Speakers:
- Sixto Cancel, Chief Executive Officer, Think Of Us
- Casey Trupin, Director of Youth Homelessness, Raikes Foundation
