We are excited to welcome James Crowder, Jr., Senior Associate for Local Policy Reform and Advocacy at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, as the newest member of the Funders Together to End Homelessness Board!
James is a dedicated advocate for policies and programs that enhance the quality of life for low-income families in distressed communities. With 20 years of experience in affordable housing, community development, and policy research and advocacy, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to guide Funders Together’s work.
Prior to joining the Annie E. Casey Foundation, James served as a Senior Associate at PolicyLink, where he worked closely with city leaders nationwide to leverage racially disaggregated data for policy change. His research and technical assistance efforts have advanced critical conversations on employment equity, residential displacement, and economic mobility, among other key issues impacting communities most affected by housing instability.
James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master of Public Policy from Rutgers University, as well as a Master of Arts in African American Studies from Columbia University. His deep commitment to racial and economic justice aligns strongly with our mission, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our leadership team.
Please join us in welcoming James to the Funders Together Board!
